Emma Donnersberg recently designed with Michel Amar the interior project of the Hotel Royal in Paris.

Located in the heart of the French capital, next to the neighborhood of Saint Germain, the Royal is a luxury and contemporary hotel, very elegant and cozy.

The entrance features a gold desk, married with a black and white checkerboard floor and black walls, and gives the hotel a fifty’s look making it very chic.

A recess with a counter and round wall mirrors serves up a complementary setting for reading or working.

Just in front of the reception area, the living room presents lighter colors, such as a clear blue on the walls, and is furnished with a classic Moroccan rug revisited in a contemporary look, plush upholstered chairs and minimal tables and floor lights. A wallpapered back wall that dominates the interior in a pattern of silver and white triangles.

The dining room is filled with natural light from the skylights and has the feeling of a garden with abstract clear leaves painting on the walls.

Soft tan benches and chairs with chevron upholstery complement the wood tables.
