Fitzpatrick Lifestyle Hotels are a chain of luxurious hotels in Great Britain. Established in 2001, this hotel chain today boasts two locations in Dublin, The Beacon and the Morgan and was awarded the contract to convert and run Baxter’s Place in Edinburgh.
The Beacon Hotel, located in the south of the city, is the epitome of the English-style boutique hotel: small, quaint and luxurious and of sophisticated design, offering special packages for our spa, shopping discounts and gourmet food. A benchmark of Irish ho.re.ca architecture, it was designed by Traynor O’Toole Architects with interiors by Brian McDonald. It offers minimal-chic rooms made up of a few but simple elements: a lot of natural light, Philippe Starck furniture and precious components such as leather and oak wood.
Not an original mix of components by any means compared to European high hospitality standards, but one that surely breaks the rules of the traditional British architecture.
