Designed by Studio FM Milano with the creative laboratory of Ceramiche Refin , the Frame collection represents a step towards the future that changes without forgetting its roots, stating once again the unbreakable bonds between culture, innovation and creativity that has always fuelled DesignTaleStudio’s work.
In Frame the graphic language exploits the most modern ceramics technologies, expressing itself through powerful decorative surfaces inspired by the subjects and suggestions of tradition and interpreting the evolution of the ceramic floor concept in a contemporary key.
Studio FM worked on different design themes that make up the product families: the traditional majolica decoration of 19th and 20th century (Majolica), the fabric patterns of Bauhaus (Carpet), the patterns of the Mediterranean azulejos (Geometric), the oriental Shibori fabrics (Weave), the Italian Emilian ceramics decors (Emilia Flower and Tradition) and the artistic Delaunay’s avant-garde movement ( Vanguard Square).
The entire Frame collection uses graphic design in an inventive and contemporary way, re-interpreting traditional decorated ceramics. The design also becomes fragmented and the scale changes perception of the how the decorative element is seen.
Features in many impressive interior design projects, the FRAME porcelain tile collection represents a powerful creative tool for architects and interior designers aiming to innovate and enhance both public areas and commercial spaces.
