Wood can tell many stories: the memory of times past, the extraordinary variety of nature, the multi-faceted experiences of people, the value of tradition, the taste of history-filled atmospheres.

Inspired by these stories, Ceramiche Refin has exploited increasingly cutting-edge technologies to go beyond the production of mere graphic or structural finishes, however perfect these may be, but preferring to aim for the charm of a setting, the evocation of a sensation, the essence of an atmosphere.

This led to the creation of several porcelain wood tile collections, which transform the sometimes cold textures of ceramics into an authentic, warmer, imperfect material.

The Mansion collection evokes the prestige of ancient stately homes, exuding heritage and tradition: hand-planed wood, the charm of the marks left by time thus create a collection that renews original parquet panels, used to create modern, sophisticated seamless flooring layouts, enhancing the feeling for continuity and spaciousness.

Thanks to the originality of its product design and the sense of tradition and culture that it evokes, the Mansion collection has been specified for many interior design project of commercial spaces and hospitality venues, among which some of the food areas of Eataly Chicago.

Inside the new Eataly store in Chicago we find the Mansion ceramic flooring by Refin in La Piazza, a snack and drinks corner for casual nibbles on the central island on the 2nd floor,  and in Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich’s sophisticated Baffo restaurant.
