After completing the Onda Bianca building facing onto piazza Gae Aulenti, the sophisticated Belgian fashion brand Les Hommes asked Piuarch to come up with designs for its new boutique in the Porta Nuova area in Milan.

The wall of windows is slightly raised up over via Vincenzo Capelli, leading into piazza Gae Aulenti, and offers a view of the interiors, 100 m2 of floor space with a height of 6.5 metres featuring a combination of simple and luxurious materials, from marble to galvanised steel, from champagne glass to concrete, and all used in various shades of grey.

The port black marble creates a herringbone pattern on the floors and takes customers through the atrium before joining forces with the washed concrete flooring, creating a seamless look with the walls and ceiling.

The interior is given greater depth by mirrors in delicate golden tones, emphasising the three-dimensional effects: together with the arrangement of the unfussy fittings in smoked glass, they point to the attention to detail that is so characteristic of Tom Notte and Bart Vandebosch, the creators of the Les Hommes brand.
